Not Over You

NOT OVER YOU

The river's half frozen
Shivering highway
Nothing but gray sky as far as I can see
The radio is broken
In this blue car I'm driving
I'm thinking that the river is feeling just like me
I hear your name
It makes me cry
Because I never got to say goodbye

The coffee that I'm drinking
Has gone stale as the weather
Photographs and dirty clothes are scattered on the floor
I know it's wishful thinking
Growing old together
But since that Tuesday morning nothing matters anymore.

I hear your name
It makes me cry
Because I never got to say goodbye
I'm not over you
Not for a day, not for a year
It might take forever, I don't care
I'm not over you
No I'm not over you and I don't want to be

I know it's wishful thinking
Growing old together
But since that Tuesday morning nothing matters anymore

I hear your name
It makes me cry
Because I never got to say goodbye
I'm not over you
Not for a day, not for a year
It might take forever, I don't care
I'm not over you
No I'm not over you and I don't want to be
